Had a busy week

Post by DieterD on August 10th 2014, 6:20 am

The area around our well has been soggy lately. Last week the capacitor in the control box for the well needed replacing. After replacing it I turned the breaker back on. Everything seemed fine. the pressure  built up again. After a few minutes I turned the breaker off again and the pressure dropped immediately, even though no water lines were opened.

I spent last week opening the well and repairing the line. i was very grateful that I had my trusty Minneapolis Molin to help with the digging. It was an enjoyable experience. I am thinking of putting 6' round cribbing around the well so that I have access to the connections, should it ever happen again.

Pictures are available in my dropbox here:

Sure save yourself a whole lot of money by doing it yourself , a cribbing would sure be helpful should you need access again .
