Your opinion thus far

Hi all;

I'm just wondering what you think of the forum so far.  I know it's still a little quiet, we're not packed full of members as of yet and so on, but in general, how do you think we're progressing?  We have 42 members from across the country and have been around pushing two months.  I don't think that's too shabby!

I encourage those who want to to spread the word using your free local online classifieds.  Kijiji really restricts the amounts of ads I can have up at once for the same thing, and I have found that my ads are either getting deleted or not approved from out of province ad spaces.  I promote us on facebook semi-regularly and try and spread the word that way.  

Thank you all for being here and for your participation and/or lurking behavior!  I like the candid talks, great discussion and information exchange.  I hope, somewhere along the line, this has at least helped someone some how!  I'm attending a couple sales this year, selling at one, and will be printing out little cards with our info on them for people who may be interested to take.  Feel free to do the same if you want to!

I'm enjoying it, can't you tell by the number of posts I've done?   

I have enjoyed the conversation and the variety of personalities on here.

It has also helped me be able to start a local homesteading/ self sufficiency community here. My hope is that we can learn from each other, network and barter some and help each other reach our goals. We are a good 5 families strong!    We haven't officially met yet only by   but everyone is hoping to meet soon. I am hoping we all get along well in person. Only time will tell.

Thank you for starting this forum, Sweetened! I don't know if I would have put the idea out there for this local group if you hadn't started this up. I will keep spreading the word. It will help us too.

I like it, just a new member, but like what I have seen here.
Might be a little wrong timing to ad new members now, since most are gettin busy outside.
